  • AboutMy latest pieces continue to be dominated by intaglio and the role it plays in my search for the illusive purity of the two dimensional plane. Clearly at the moment I continue to be fascinated with the Australian landscape complete with its mysterious and seemingly endless vistas. In an attempt to capture this mood I have reduced my palette and used my press to enhance the images with embossed and reworked surfaces. I encourage you to visually wander through my works and discover new and unexplored territory as light creates different forms and nuances of colour from the undulations of the embossing. I ask you to let the work ‘flow over you’ and take from it what you may. Don’t become too analytical. Just realise that I enjoy playing with colour, tone, surface and atmosphere. Nowadays the majority of my works are unique and not editions.
